Gently exfoliates my daughter's skin. She leaves the pad on her face for 5 minutes after patting the less pink & problematic areas with it. It does remove whatever dryness there is on her skin and seems to alleviate the pink spots on her cheek areas. She uses it 1x a week or as needed, if the weather's drier than usual. This stuff feels very refreshing on my skin! I love the bit of cooling sensation. I think it might actually help calm my skin too, or at least I like to think it does. Overall, I even like it for the soothing sensation alone!
